Hidden Gems of the Philippines: Luli and Cowrie Islands

Luli and Cowrie Island, Philippines

Palawan is one of the most beautiful island provinces in the Philippines, offering some of the world’s most picturesque landscapes, and endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure. During my recent trip to Palawan, I had the pleasure of visiting three of its many islands, each with its own unique charm and allure.

Luli Island, located in Honda Bay, is a small yet stunning island that lives up to its name. Its beauty is accentuated by its sandbar that sinks and rises depending on the tide. This unique feature provides an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the sea and the sand simultaneously. You can indulge in various water activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving to explore the island’s colorful marine life.

Cowrie Island, also located in Honda Bay, is known for its crystal-clear waters and powdery white sand. The island offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. You can bask in the sun, unwind with a massage, or indulge in a variety of water sports such as banana boat rides, parasailing, and jet skiing. The island also has a restaurant and bar where you can enjoy delicious Filipino cuisine while admiring the beautiful scenery.

Overall, my visit to Palawan was an unforgettable experience, and these islands were among the highlights of my trip. The picturesque beauty of Luli and the relaxing ambiance of Cowrie Island will remain etched in my memory forever.
